Gilligan have been appointed a test match selection committee. They will co-opt two professionals, probably J. B. Hobbs and Wilfred Rhodes. SELECTION OF CAPTAIN WILL BE FIRST TASK. (Received February 25, 1.55 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. The test selectors will first choose a captain,* who will then be a member of the selection committee and have a casting vote. The professional members of the committee will have full powers.
