FELL FROM YACHT AND DISAPPEARED.

Per Prees Association. AUCKLAND, February 1. George Lawson, forty-five, a resident of Thames, fell from the yacht Wanderer between Flat Island and Ostend on Saturday afternoon and was drowned. Five men on the launch saw Lawson struggling in the water some distance astern. They rowed back in a dinghy but Lawson had disappeared and was not seen again. Lawson was a single man.
