COLERIDGE WORKS WELL FORWARD.
MR CLIMIE COMMENTS ON GOOD PROGRESS MADE. The duplication works in connection with the Lake Coleridge hydro-elec-tric power scheme were inspected by Mr P. R. Cliniic, organiser of the Canterbury Progress League, last week, and he will report fully on his visit at the meeting of the executive of the league on Wednesday night. “ I was very pleased with the progress made since my previous visit.” said Mr Clirnie to a reporter this morning. “ The work is well forward and as far as the civil engineering part of the scheme is concerned it will be completed in good time. The tunnel work is going splendidly."
