PRINCE BREAKS COLLARBONE IN FALL FROM HORSE

It is officially reported that the Prince of Wales’s accident is not likely ‘"to interfere with his engagements. The Prince of Wales’s accident occurred in open country. The hounds were going at a great pace and a big field was following. The Prince took a difficult hedge, flanked by two ditches. The horse cleared the obstacle but stumbled and fell. The Prince looked cheerful and well on arrival in London. He assured his welcomers that he was perfectly all right. The accident occurred at Little Shelton. The Prince’s injuries consist of a fractured left collarbone and bruises. He was assisted immediately by Several followers and conveyed in a motorcar to a local surgery, where he was treated. The fracture was set. An X-rays examination proved it was a perfectly clean and simple break with no . complications. A rapid and complete recovery is confidently expected.
