ITALIAN DELEGATE PRAISES DICTATOR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 3, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON. December 2. When M. Briand departed for Paris one of his most treasured possessions was a silver loving cup, the gift of Sir Austen Chamblcrlain. inscribed. ‘‘To my Friend, Aristide Briand, Souvenir of Locarno." Signor Scialoja, questioned as to whether British Labour’s threats not to carry him in the trains had deterred Signor Mussolini from coming to London to sign the Locarno Treaty, said: “Signor Mussolini is five Ministers in one. He is a great doctor, and his serum destroys disease without harming the healthy tissues.”
Signor Scialoja would not go so far as to say that this treatment should be adopted in countries other than Italy.
