MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) frank Silas Bn.tes. aged thirty-eight, pleaded guilty to a charge of having used indecent language on the Railway Station. Mr Twyneham, who appeared for the accused, said that ihe language was used in anger to two clerks in an office at the station. Bates did not drink, and there was no question about -his being drunk at the time. Bates was fined £3, in default three weeks’ imprisonment. CIVIL BUSINESS.
