The Moscow correspondent of the ‘‘Daily Express ” states that Limbers, former head of the port of Leningrad, and eleven of his associates, have been sentenced to death for misappropriation of State property. Over 100 minor port officials and private traders are implicated. Eighteen persons were acquitted and the others sentenced to from one to six years imprisonment. The trial lasted for twenty days.
