A sacred concert given in the Theatre Royal last evening ia aid of the sick and benefit fund of the Christchurch stage employees attracted a very Jarge attendance. Those -who contributed to the I'rog' • mire included Mr R. Allison. Miss V! ilioent Jennings, the Harris Family (Fuller’s), Miss Adcle Crane ("Kid Boots” Company). Mr J. Dunn (' Kid Boots'* Company), Mr Fred Hayward’s Jazz Band, Mr Bernard Rennell, Mr M. Crotty ("Kid Boots’’ Company). Mr Nat Hanley (Fuller’s) and Miss Bessie Blackwell). Mr Rennell and Miss Jennings also gave a duet. Mr Albert Bidgood and Ids orchestra provided the incidental music. Many of the items offered were of the very highest class, and the audience ras enthusiastic in iTs applause.
