Yesterday a small party of members of the Christchurch Tramping Club had a long and enjoyable trip to Cooper’s Knob. After the last very successful trip to Glentui, nothing very ambitious was undertaken, but all the same the trip proved a very pleasant day's out' ing for all those who went to it. The Summit Track was followed from Dyer’s Pass past Kennedy’s Bush and Rhodes's Spring to Cooper’s Knob, which one energetic member of the party climbed. Then the track was left and the hillside followed down into Allandale. The return was made by Governor’s Bay and Dyer’s Pass to Cashmere, a total distance of about sixteen miles being covered. On the whole the tracks were in good condition considering the recent weather, though one slip on Ella’s Track gave some trouble, and there were many slips along the coast road to Governor’s Bay, all of which, however, were traversed withbut difficulty. CARRY THE TIME, BOYS. Get your dad to look at the Inventic w; tel es at Hinson’s. It’s a well irewn make and the prices are 6s 9d, ts <‘d, 8s 9d. 6
