FOG AND RAIN.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. June 25. The weather for the opening of Parliament this afternoon was anything but propitious. It had been raining all night and to-day the city is enveloped in heavy fog. which, unless it lifts, will greatlv militate against the spectacular effect of the outdoor ceremony.
