Over a. thousand Japanese, arrayed in native costume, and carrying brilliantly eolured lanterns marched up Beret ania Avenue, and paid resjiect to Governor Farrington, of Hawaii, and Admiral T*. I'. Coord 7., who formally reviewed the procession. Scores of beautiful floats sotno American, some Japanese in design—followed the marchers. The parade was augmented by two hands, consisting mostly of Oriental musicians who played American marches.
