AUSTRALIAN BUTTER LEADS. PRODUCERS JUBILANT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.--—Copyright. Aus. & K.Z. Cable Association. (Received Juno 21. 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, .Juno 21. During; the, conference of dairy factory managers it was estimated that by Juno 30 New South Yales would bare produced 115.000,000 pounds of butter. With the additional 5,000,000 pounds made ou farms and sold as dairy butter this is a record production. Th« previous best was 100.000.GOO pounds in 1021-22. During the eleven months ended May 31- last, 542,765 boxes of butter wore graded for export. The previous best grading total was 790.C00 boxes in 1921-22. Of the boxes graded this year 42.20 per cent was “ choicest,” 25.5 “ first grade,” and 25.21 second grade.” The president, in his address, stressed the importance of a national brivad and ix> in ted out the singular success achieved hr Australian "butter since Kangaroo Brand had first been placed on the Home markets. For the first time in history Australian butter had led the product of New Zealand in point of price, which meant quality.
