DONOGHUE’S DASH.
MISSED FIRST RACE. LONDON, June 7. Sieve Doroghue, the famous jockey, who was flying from France to Lewes, was delayed by fog. Ho landed in the centre of the racecourse, but, although he borrowed a policeman's horse and galloped to the paddoeic. he was not in time for the first race. I\. God by, the young Australian, a son of Cecil Godbv, who is apprenticed to Stanley 5\ cotton, rode two winners, and a third at the Lewes meeting. The Star '' says that Godbv is quite at home on the ‘'switchback ” courses. Frank Bullock rode a winner and W. 11. AX'Lachlan a third at Birmingham.
