During the progress of a four-ball match between players representing the Harcwood and Clubs, at the former's links, K Blunt, when playing “the hurdle" at the fourth, holed out his tec shot, a distance of 135 yards in ouc. The feat, caused quite a flutter among the players, particularly as it was the first time any member had performed it at the new links.
