On Tuesday evening a fine musical programme was given to the soldiers of the Rannerdale Home now’ staying at Sumner, by the following:—Misses Lil* J lian Hanham, 3label Dyer, G. Langridge, D. Clark, A. Lomas, Messrs G. Cordner, F. G. Boyce, S. Armstrong, Wright, and P. S. Nicholls, songs; 3liss Myra Edmonds, recitations; Messrs Woodwood (banjo), Maddans (violin), Elwood (mouth organ), trio; Captain Ludbrook, concertina solo. Miss Webb, 3liss Duffey and 3lr F. Cook played the accompaniments. Cars were provided to convey the party to and fro by 31 r Horace Mansfield, Mrs R. Spencer, 3lrs Clark and Mr Wright.
