At the monthly meeting of the Christchurch British-lsy-aol Association Mr AJ. Ragg presided. There was a fair attend ance of members. An address entitled ” Ancestry of the British ” was given by Mr W. T. Vaughan. At the close the lecture, on the motion of the Rev P. H Pritchett. Mr Vaughan was accorded a heartv vote of thanks. In the Rolleston Street Hall. Dm wood, yesterday afternoon, an address was given by the Rev P. H Pritchett entitled. ** Some Outlinej of British-Israel Truth.” Mr A. R. Ragg presided, the attendance being fair. The lecturer dealt extensively with the picture presented by the Bible of what Israel was to be at the present time, and compared this with the picture that the British Empire presented to-day. proving that the two peoples were identical. In answering a question, Mr Pritchett said that the British-Israel people did not claim to be Jews, who only represented the two tribes Judah and Levi.
