SIXTH MOTOR SHOW. There was a record first night attendance at tlie King Rdward Barracks on Saturday, when the sixth motor Olympia promoted by the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Motor Trades Association was declared open officially bv the .Mnvor of Christchurch. The consensus of opinion of the L'OOO visitors to the show was that it was the best Olympia to date, and the president. .Mr L. Trcleaven. who lias seen every motor show held in New Zealand,, declared that the latest Canterbury show was the host that he had seen. There are thirty-two stands at Olympia. comprising twenty-eight exhibitors, 31,000 square loot being utilised. The total value of the whole of Olympia is i.1b0.000. As m former years, the decorations are in keeping with the importance of the. exhibition, and during afternoon and evening musical programmes are given. Refreshments v.r& obtainable. Olympia will be open all the week from 0 n.m. till TO p.m. The programme to he given by AVilly a ms's Olympia Orchestra to-day will include “Lucia di Lammermoor,” “lies C Inches d'Auroro." “Zampa.” “Maid of the .Mountains ” and other lighter
