REPUBLICANS GROW.

IRSSH ELECTION PROSPECTS. Uy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November S. Air Cosgrave has announced that the Dail Eireann Executive has decided to abandon all prosecutions of persons apprehended for alleged crimes during the state of rebellion, between December. 1921, and May. 1923. The President said that the Government believed the reign of law and order had happily been restored and could now best be served by the step decided upon. The Dail has adjourned to enable members to participate in a miniature general election, as fourteen, by-elections are pending. The Dublin correspondent of the “ Daily Telegraph ” says the Free State Party approaches the contests with nervousness. It feels that the Republicans have gained strength in recent months. Events in the Dail, in the Free State Army, and in Britain have not strengthened Air Cosgrave’s hands, and it would not be surprising if the Republicans make a strong show in the by-elections. BOUNDARY COMMISSION. LONDON. November S. The Irish Boundary Commission met in London and adjourned, awaiting communications from the Free State and Northern Governments.
