SWIMMING.
SOMERFIELD CLUB. Mr W. H. Winsor presided over an attendance of twenty-five members at the annual meeting held night. The chairman, in the course of his remarks said he was pleased to see such a large membership. F. Tonkin won tho Winsor Aggregate Swimming Cup. The election of officers resulted . —Patron, Mr W. H. Tongue T. W. Rudkin, Mrs T. Good; club captain. Mr C. Woodbury; vicecaptain. Mr W. Good: honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Tongue; delegates to centre, Messrs F. Tonkin, A. Tongue and G. Kkelton; club handicapper. Mr W. Good ; committee, Messrs F. Tonkin. G. Skelton. A. Wood. C. Thornton C. Gasson, P. Ring and A. Rowe; honorary auditor, Mr W. Joyce. The opening day was fixed, for NovemAn honorarium of £1 Is was voted to Mr W. Good for acting as caretaker of the baths. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring secretary and treasurer, Mr A. R. Wood.
