THE BUSINESS GIRL AND HOLIDAY TIME.
The girl who works every day in ari office looks forward very eagerly to her holiday, even ir it is only of weekend duration, and it is understandable that- she should determine to enjoy every minute of it. Some girls seem to believe that enjoyment is synonymous with strenuous exercise ; their holiday makes more tax upon their powers of endurance than any working day. Instead of getting benefit from tlie period of recreation, they derive a. feeling of exhaustion, which, to a certain extent mars the pleasure to which they have been entitled. By reason of their sedentary occupation, their muscles are quite unfitted for the strain suddenly put upon them. UNACCUSTOMED EXERC'ISE. Tt is often a temptation to a girl to continue walking, playing tennis or golf, or taking some other unaccusomed exercise after she is really tired out. In consequence, instead of having derived benefit- from her holiday, she requires another one the following day to .recover from it-! Tt is well for her to remember not to make a business of a holiday.
