Gale wa.s to hare left Lyttelton last evening for Dunedin, but, owing to a case of sickness on board, which necessitated disinfecting the forecastle, the vessel will not leave until this morning. Orepuki, from Tarakohe, is expected on Sunday with a cargo of cement for discharge here. On Monday, after discharging her cement, ehe will load general cargo for Westport and Greymoutn. Wootton, on completing her loading, sailed last evening for Wellington. Cygnet sailed last evening for Kaikoura, Neison and Motueka. Captain W. J. Jones, mate of tho vessel, took command 3*esterday in place of Captain Murray, who tripped on the wharf and dislocated a shoulder. Mr W. Burns has gone on tho Cygnet as mate.

Progress, from Wanganui, is due this morning to load for Wellington and Wanganui, for which ports she will sail this evening.

Port Hunter, from Dunedin, via Timaru, is due here to-morrow to continue her loading for Boston, New York and London. Wears Kinsey and Co. announce that they hope to dispatch the Keelung for Dunedin this evening. "W airau is now expected by her agents, Kinsey and Co., to arrive at Lyttelton tomorrow morning. The vessel will load here for Blenheim, and shoud Bail the same evening for that port.

Whangape, from Sydney direct, is expected on Saturday. On unloading her Lyttelton cargo the vessel will leave on Monday for Dunedin, Oamaru and BluiT thence Sydney. Corinna, from Dunedin, via Timaru is due to-morrow morning to load general cargo for Wellington, New Plymouth and Kelson. Wan aka is an expected arrival on Tuesr , om Au °kland. The vessel will leave ItOD t^ e Baine evening for Dunedin. Kavua will be recommissioned at Port Chalmers on Tuesday, and is due here the following day to load for Auckland. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT MERCHANT MARINE. Canadian Pioneer sailed from Auckland on May 6 and arrived at Montreal on July 0. Canadian Hiller sailed from Auckland on June 16 and arrived at Brisbane on June 21. She sailed from Melbourne for Dunedin direct on July 16, arriving Dunedin July 23. She will subsequently visit Lyttelton. W ellington. Napier and Auckland, loading at these porta for New York, Boston and Montreal and inland points of the United States and Canada. Canadian Spinner sailed from Auckland on June 5 and arrived at New York July Canadian Challenger sailed from Auckland for New York on June 25. Canadian Cruiser sailed from Auckland on July 12 and arrived at Brisbane July 18. From thence she sails for Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and clears from the last-named port to the New Zealand east coast to load refrigerated and general cargo for New York. Boston, Montreal and inland points in the United States and Canada. Canadian Constructor sailed from Quebec on July 3, and from Colon on July 16, en route to Auckland, at which port she is due on August 11. She will proceed from thence to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and will clear therefrom to New Zealand east coast porta to load refrigerated and general cargo for Atlantio Coast ports of America and Canada. Canadian Britisher sails from Montreal P.Q. 01: July 31 for Auckland via Panama, and should arrive at Auckland on or about September 12 She will proceed to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. and will return from the last-named port to New Zealand to load for Atlantic coast of America and Canada. Canadian Challenger is scheduled to leii.ro Montreal on Angus*. 89 for Auck-

land via Panama. All New Zealand cargo transhipped at Auckland. Canadian Traveller is timed to Bail from Montreal on September 30 for Auckland via d’anama. All New Zealand cargo transhipped at Auckland. Canadian Planter was to have sailed from .Vancouver on July 8 for Auckland via Panama, and should reach Auckland on or about August 5. She will subsequently vif.it Wellington and Sydney. Canadian Scottish is timed to sail from Vancouver on August 25 for Aucklanu direct and should arrive at that port on or about September 19. and will proceed from Auckland to Sydney and Melbourne. Canadian Planter sails from Vancouvr cn October 20 for Sydney, New South Wales. Melbourne and Adelaide. Atua. after being delayed at Lyttelton for two days by bad weather, completed her loading yesterday and sailed for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. Kaikorai arrived this morning from Newcastle with load of coal. On completing her unloading tho vessel will leave for Westport, where she will bunker prior to sailing for Port Pirie, where she will load wheat for a New Zealand port. Waikawa arrived this n t rning from Vancouver, via Napier. She is timed to sail from this port for Dunedin and New Plymouth on Saturday. The Canadian Government Merchant Marine advises that the Canadian Cruiser, after completing discharge of her Canadian cargo at Australian ports, is to load during August at Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland for New York, Boston and Montreal. Waimana, from We’ington, arrived this morning with Weet-of-England cargo for discharge WIRELESS NOTICE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland—Makura, Tofua, Sierra, Now* ihera, Koromiko, H.M.S.
