Westminster Abbey possesses a clock which has only one hand. It is a Roman 24-hour clock, and dates hack to the building of the Wren towers in the early part of the eighteenth century. Its one hand makes two circuits of the clock face in the twentyfour "hours. At Eiteddfod y Gweithwyr, Dolgelley, the chaired bard, the leader of the mixed choir, the leader of the children’s choir, the tenor soloist, awarded premier honours, and the second in Penillion singing with harp accompaniment were all Great 'Western Railway signalmen.
