will load here for Wellington and Wanganui and sail to-morrow evening. The Wingatui will be dispatched to-mor-row for Au-ekland with general cargo. The Navua sailed last evening for Dunedin. 'She will return here on Thursday next to load for Auckland. The Kekerangu will sail at noon to-day for Wellington. The Kaitangata- arrived yesterday afternoon from Dunedin with Adelaide cargo for discharge. The vessel is timed to sail to-morrow for Auckland. The Sussex is due at Wellington -o-day from Calcutta, via- Auckland. She is due here on Tuesday next. The intercolonial steamer Waikouaiti is expected to-day from Timaru. After discharging a quantity of coal loaded at Newcastle, and general cargo loaded at Sydney, she will load for Sydney. for which port she is timed to sail on Tues-. Kekerangu leaves Lyttelton at. noon to-day for Wellington. The Opihi will load here on Thursday next for Wellington, New Plymouth and Captain O. Clift, has resumed command of the Mararoa. and Captain J. Mattson, who has been temporarily in command, has come ashore for instructions. Mr H. .A. Brockett. who has been on holiday leave, has joined the Kaia-poi as chief officer, and Mr R. Griffiths, who has been acting chief officer on this vessel, has coin© ashore for orders. Mr C. T. Robb has joined the Marama as fourth officer, taking the place of Mr .!. M. Hood, who li as come ashore. Mr A. IT. Crawley, fourth engineer of the Navua. has transferred to the Maun* gnnui in a similar capacity. Mr W. C. Murray, third engineer, has left, the Maunganui. The Marine Court of Inquiry into the less of the collier Astral, which was over whelmed by a heavy sea off Barren joey Head, found that the vessel foundered through springing a leak. No blame was attached to the officers or crew. Captain F. L. G. Jaunay, of the Kaitnna. has come ashore for instructions, and his place is-being filled by Captain G. B. Morgan, late of the Rakanoa.
