The Sofia correspondent of “ The Times ” states that the Bulgarian Government hos declared open war on the Communists, whose intrigues have been bitterly denounced. General Russeff. Minister of the Interior, speaking at Sofia, definitely accused them of secretly conspiring with Moscow for the overthrow of the Government and to act up to the Soviet regime. Henceforth he declared Communists would be excluded from all State appointments and attempts at revolution would be ruthlessly suppressed.

General Russeff appealed to all Democratic forces to rally round the Government.
