OVERNIGHT SUMMARY. On Monday evening the Hinds Miniature Rifle Club had a shoot for a trophy donated by Messrs L. Watson and A. Ellis, the winner being F. Hood. The hotty button was won by D. Paterson, with a possible. Two Kaikoura fishermen had an exciting experience on Saturday afternoon. when surprised at a fishing ground, about eight miles off-shore, by the southerly gale which sprung up early in the afternoon.
