WASHHOUSE ALIGHT. At 11.4,3 this morning the city brigade was called to the residence of Air -J. Lefort. 137, Stanmore Road, where some ivy or top of a wasb‘houjse v h;id caught alight, evidently through sparks from the washing day fire. The flames were extinguished be- ] fore any damage was done. The Mercer Patent Extinguisher reduces lire risks and safeguards property. Keep one in office, home or factory. J.
