The Auckland Grammar School nave' forwarded a challenge for the Heathcoto Williams Shield, through the New Zealand Cricket Council, to tho present holders of the trophy, Cbrisfehurch Boys’ High School. The match will commence on Tuesday week, December 18. ST ALBANS OLD-TIMERS v. VETERANS. A cricket match between St Albans Oldtimers and the Veterans was won by the latter by 107 runs. The Old-timers made 107 runs (Taylor 42. Dunn 10, C. W. Colville 35): Veterans 214 (White 78 retfred. Fox 20, Rattray 24 retired, Mann 20, Chapman 13. Sanders 19). Taylor and Dunn for the Old-timers and Rattray, Brock and Chapman for Veterans were the bpßt bowlers.
