FARMERS’ CO-OP.

PROPOSAL TO REDUCE INTEREST. A motion brought before the Supreme Court 011 Saturday for approval of a resolution passed at a meeting of depositors and bondholders in the N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd.. has been approved by Air Justice Adams. The motion was one agreeing, upon certain conditions, that bondholders should accept 6£ per cent instead of 74 P^ r cent; that the association should bo released from payment of the debenture tax of 3s in the £. and that all deposits should he converted into fixed deposits for terms to he arranged, ranging from six months upwards.
