SECOND CONCERT TO-.VIGHT

Theie is no doubt as to ihe sensation caused by Mme Lydia Lipkovska (Lip-kov-ska), the famous Russian print a donna, at, her first concert on ruesdav night. Nothing like her .costume recitals has been seen or heard here before ; they are unique and c-.iarmingly artistic. The famous singers beautiful costumes have caused a flutter which is not confined to feminine circles. Her remarkable voice and wonder lul artistry rank her amongst the greatest singers that have visited the Dominion, and her triumphant success wherever she appears is readily understood after once hearing her * To-night another attractive programme will he presented by Madame Lipkovska at her second concert. Operatic excerpts include “The Queen's Aria. ' from ” Lcs Huguenots” (Moverbeer). and “Una Voce Poc o Fa” from “ Barber of Seville” (Rossini). Knghsh songs include “At Sunset’’ (Eric Coates). “If We Should Meet ” (Finden). “Lullaby” (Cyril Scott). Songs in Russian costume, “ Vision ” (Aren- ‘ f* rot Av Maiden ” (Dargomysky), * 1 hc . Islet” (Rachmaninoff), “'Snowflake (Gretehaninoff) ; songs in Spanrsh costume, “ Partidu ” (Alvarez), “Clavelitos” (Yalvento). A feature ot the programme will he the sensational laughing song “ Laissez-moi dire ’ (Controne). which is one of the most remarkable numbers in madame’s repertoire.

The third concert will be given on Saturday night and the fourth on Monday. The plans are at The Bristol and the day sales at the Theatre Koval Confectionery.
