FIRE IN HOTEL.
Pfr Press Association*. WELLINGTON, November 7. A brisk blaze at the Troeadero Hotel was promptly suppressed by the brigade. Damage to the extent of £2OO was done. A porter discovered that the top of the airshaft leading from the kitchen to the roof was alight. The fire spread to the roof. Through the prompt arrival of the brigade the fire. though blazing briskly, was speedily put out. A number of windows overlooking the portion burnt were broken by the heat and woodwork was scorched. The building is insured in the Atlas office for £l-1.000. '
