I A group of men interested in the ; grain trade obtained a sympathetic i bearing from President C-oolidge and the Secretary of Agriculture for a plan under which the War Finance Corporation would finance the shipment ol 50.000,000 bushels wheat to Germany as a means of relieving starvation there and the glut in the United States wheat' market. 1 A decision was withheld.
