The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Chronicle”' states:—“The mark continues its catastrophic fall. It nas reached fifty-four thousand million to the pound. A loaf of bread costs 620 millions today, and tomorrow will cost a thousand millions. All prices are advancing proportionately. “ Tt is reported that the Stock Exchange intends to refuse to deal in anything on a paper mark basis. Probably the trouble will lead to the Stock Exchange closing.’’
