SOUTH TAIERI BADLY FLOODED. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 14. Outram is competely isolated. There is no way of approaching it from Mosgie! or the South Taieri Road. Last night the water covered all the bridges near the township and the river ban* threatened to give way and flood the township. Fortunately this morning the river dropped from nineteen feet to fourteen feet. The Taieri River this morning fell five feet r South Taieri is still badly flooded The main 3011th road between Otakiu an d Henley is covered with water. Farmers’ properties will not be fit for stock for months to come owing to the loss of grass. Fortunately al! stock removed to the high country during the ast flood are still there and no losses are reported.
