REPAIRS IN HAND. “ We are expecting to get communication with Kaikoura, via Waiau. very shortly, but at present conditions are exactly the same as they were yes terday,” stated Mr H. 1. Bennett, Superintendent of Telegraphs, at half past ten o’clock this morning. Mr Bennett added that communication with Wellington was being main tained with one multiplex machine, operated via Greymouth.
