Ormsby-Gore, Undersecretary for the Colonies, to their protest against the remission of the export duty on sugar to the Sugar Re fining Company, will probably rhsign A meeting of Fiji colonists, held a? Suva, decided to send to the Secretary for the Colonies a protest against the remission of tire duty, and the elected members of the Council threatened to resign unless satisfactory reply was recefved.
