The Hurunui is timed to sail from Lyttelton to-night for Wellington. The crew of the auxiliary schooner Zita were paid off yesterday. The vessol has still a writ nailed to her mast. The Gale* from Timaru, arrived this morning. She will be dispatched this afternoon for Wellington and Wanganui. The Breeze returns here on .Sunday, from 1 Picton to load for Dunedin and Timaru. I The Calm, from Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru, is due to-morrow, and leaves for Wellington on Wangaui in the evening The Storm, from Westport, is due this evening with bunker coal for the hulk Kanpo. The Port Nicholson is due at Welling ton to-day. The vessel will complete her loading at Wellington and sails on Friday. The Opua will be dispatched this evening for Wellington, Westport and Greymouth. J The John is expected this evening: from Dunedin. She will load here for Weilington Wanganui aud New Plymouth, and will sail to-morrow evening. The Holmdale, from Dunedin, Timaru and Oamaru, is due to-morrow morning and will sail the same day for Wellington and Wanganui. Ihe Opihi left Auckland on Monday mght for Wellington. The vessel is due here on Friday morning, and will sail or. .Saturday for Nydia Bay to load timber for Lyttelton. The Wakatu arrived last night from Kaikoura. The vessel i 8 timed to sail for Kaikoura anil Wellington this evening. The Kennedy, from Wellington, arrived last night to load for Foxton. The veesel should sail for the north this evening. The City of Bombay, with New York cargo. arrived this morning from Wellington. The vessel will remain here for about three days, and then proceed to Dunedin and Australia. The Port Melbourne is expected from Wellington on Friday with West of England cargo. From this port she goes on to Dunedin, and will return here later for loading. COST OF A BATTLESHIP.
