LIBERAL INTENTIONS.

Si dev says that the statement that the Liberals intend to take a 1 in the Oamaru election lias been put out as an excuse for the Reform Party to enter the contest. No decision had been reached for any Libj era- to take the scat for Mr' MacI pherson, who, he v-qs quite able to win it again. It was not his I wish to have outside help, and such • help wos only likely if Reform entered the field.
