OAMARU BY-ELECTION.
WRIT TO BE ISSUED TO-DAY. (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, April 14. The writ for the Oamaru by-election will be issued to-day. As it is returnable within twenty-eight days. the usual practice is to fix the election about twenty days hence. The definite date of the election will be announced early next week. POLL ON MAY 1. (Pep, Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 14. The writ for the Oamaru election was issued to-day. Polling will take place on Tuesday, May 1.
