NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council at it* meeting held last night, decided to recommend the general meeting to convene. a conference of represontativs of the Minor Associations at Christchurch in Grand National Week, to consider the future of the Hawke Cup Competition. The report of the Wellington Association that an enquiry into the charge of watering the wicket in the WellingtonCantorbury match was considered, and the Management Committee decided that the enquiry be held at the earliest opportunity. and that Mr I». «\ Collins and one representative of the Wellington Association he invited io attend at the expense of the New Zealand Cricket
