DUNEDIN, April. 9At a. very large meeting of citizens held to-night, the project tc hold an exhibition in Dunedin in 1925-26 was supported with great- enthusiasm. A provincial committee was set up to take the necessary stops to rortmi--late details of an exhibition company, Ihe committee was authorised to draw up a report, and this is to be-submit-ted to a public meeting at the earliest possible date. 1 h© question of whether the exhibition will be an Imperial or an international oive was held over, pending n reply from the conference of manufacturers’ associations. Mr W. C. Burt, president of the Otago Manufacturers’ Association, said ho was strongly of opinion that, in the interests of trade within the Empire the exhibition should bo an Imperial ones.
