DECISION OF ANGORA ASSEMBLY. HEATED DEBATE LASTS TWELVE HOURS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. (Received March 9, 9.30 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, March 8. Official.—The Angora Assembly, by a large majority, rejesf.ed the Lausanne Treaty, demanding a Mosul settlement within a fixed period, full safeguards for Turkey’s vital rights, independence in financial and economic administrative domains, and the immediate evacuation of occupied Turkish territories upon the signature of Pesos. The Assembly voted confidence in the Government, and authorised it to continue peace negotiations. The decision, which wipes out all the work done at Lausanne, and demands negotiations based on further concessions, was reached after a final, heated debate, which lasted for twelve hours.
