BECKENHAM. The usual monthly meeting of the Beck-enham-School Committtee wa« held on Monday evening. Present Mr H Newton (chairman). Mrs Puddle. Messrs Gallagher. Jones, Mill. Heath. Burt. Carlisle. A letter was received from the Board stating that application for new class rooms had been sent, to the department in Wellington. It was decided to hold the Picnic at Leeston on Thursday. February 1.
