“THE STAR” SERIAL
The first instalment of the “ Starts ” new serial, entitled “ THE OREEN SHADE,” (By HE A DON HILL) appears in this issue. “ The Green Shade ” is an exciting tale of how a quiet country village, with its manor house and rectory, becomes the scene of a mysterious crime. The story tells of a young private detective who tries his ’prentice hand upon the solution of the problem. How he finally enables an innocent man to clear himself of suspicion and marry the girl he loves, and how he fastens the guilt upon the light person, makes a thrilling narrative.
