NEW IDEAS IN XMAS GIFTS.
AN INTERESTING INVESTIGA TION. Following upon the article in last week's ’‘Star.'' the writer interviewed Mr A. G. Britten, proprietor of the liutler Cycle W orks. 600, Colombo Street, who stated that this year there was a most surprising and agreeable demand for Cycles as Xmas gifts. The public, Mr Britten said, were beginning to realise that recipients of gifts appreciated something tangible and useful instead of mere ornaments, especially when they were able to secure such bargains as Boys’ and Girls 5 Cycles for £6 and £7. New Cycles for Gentlemen lor £lO 10s. and Now Cycles for Ladies for £l2 10s. In addition, Mr Britten said, the Butler Cycle Works had a very nice selection of splendid Secondhand Machines which are offering st £6 10s and £7 10s. The Butler Cycle Works have still one or two of then well built Children’s Tricycles, which are built like a bicycle, being much heavier than the usual type, and for these the prices are exceedingly reasonable. 13G8
