NO POLL ARRANGED. “ Will a poll be taken to erect a concert hall before we go out of office?’’ asked Councillor C. W. tlervey at last evening’s meeting of the City Council. The Deputy-Mayor (Councillor J. A. Flesher; replied that, as previously decided. the poll would not be taken before that on the water supply ques tion. The cost of preparing the roll would be £IOOO. and he saw no prospect of the issue going to the ratepayers before the end of March, 1923.
