PLUNKET SOCLIETY.

\ large and representative gathering assembled in Kirwee recently to consider tbe establishment of a branch of the Plunket Society. Mrs H. A Knight, with several ntemljers of the Davrteld centre, was present, and spoke on Plunket work, expressing much pleasure in helping to form a branch that promised to become a. strong body. The tpembership totals thirty five, with every prospect of being increased. A committee consisting of members residing in Kirwee. Aylesbury and Courtenay was formed as follows: President. Airs J. H. Sellz; vice-presi-dent. Airs A. Andersen; secretary and treasurer. Airs J. Dysart : vice sec-re-lary. Airs R. Dysart, Alesdames G. Fat-stone, A\\ Street, J. Youngmau, K. Murchison, (*. Kelly, A. Stewart. F. G. Sawder, F. Johnson. AV. Lacev, G. Robertson and A. Robertson and Aliss Sloan. A hearty vote of thanks was accordterest in the work, and the wish was expressed that later a public meeting Mould he called to bring the work into 1 ; eminence.
