Neilson thn. lie had interviewed members of the Net Zealand Boxing Council and they were favourable to a youths’ tourney being held. They would he pleased to run the contest and provide the gear. The matter would be discussed at a meetiug of the council the next day. Air u. Curtis, owner of the launch Pacific, will run trips on the day of the (Jala. December -2. The meeting resolved to approach Air A. W. Owles, of New Brighton, requesting the loan of his flags for decorative purposes. An invitation will also be tendered to the New Brighton Power Boating Club to assist the gala by entering its high powered boats for the races. The offer of Mr F. Truscott to lend Shetland ponies for the purpose of rides for children was accepted with thauks. Royal blue and gold were adopted as the official colours. The AVoolston Band’s tender was accented. The .Juvenile Merrymakers offered to stive n concert in Hie aid of the caln funds, unci the offer was accepted with thanks. A suitable date will be arranged.
