Mr NJeighen declared that a policy of delay might drag Canada into war. Ho pointed out that Canada was a party to the Treaty of Sevres and asserted that what Britain wanted was the Dominions’ declaration of Empire, solidarity to meet the crisis. He would back the Government in rushing a message of loyal co-operation, as Australia and New Zealand had done.
