Mr Clinton Bra inarch head of M'Cl ures. the publishers, after securing the world rights of the ex-Kaiser’s memoirs for £50,000, arranged with 31. Viviani and Mr Asquith to write volumes in reply. It is reported here that one of the most sensational * chapters in the ex-Kaiser’s book deals with his offer of temporal power to the Pope in the event of the latter being successful in the peace mediation.
