PRINTERS’ DISPUTE.
SETTLED AT CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Pres* Association—Copyright Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received August 17, l p.m.) LONDON, August 17. The printers’ dispute, which has for so long disorganised the provincial newspaper world, has .been settled as the result of a conference. The Typographical Association agreed to recommend the strikers to resume immediwith a reduction of 3«* weekly, "there will algo be a ballot on acceptance. The gradual total reduction is 12ft 6d.
